Evidence Overview:

This page is used to showcase my second evidence set for my Camp Tevya internship work. While the first page was used to display the daily facebook posts, this page is used to display the videos that I have coordinated the creation of on behalf of Camp Tevya. These videos are used heavily as marketing tools to help show the fun nature of the culture here at camp. These videos show kids doing what they do best here, having fun. The videos are based on different activities or events that occurred here, but they all show the one thing that parents and prospective families want to see, kids having the time of their life. In the first video, our staff is showed off going through a day at orientation we call "Tevya 101". This is a day that helps all the new and international staff get acclimated with all of the interesting cultures and traditions that we have here at camp, as well as just to show them the daily routine here. The second and third videos showcase the first day of programming and also just the first two weeks of camp. These are very powerful tools for Tevya's marketing because they not only show families that their kids are having a blast at camp in a way that no blogs or pictures could do, but they also show prospective campers and their families how fun it is and why they would want to come here. The last video that I've helped coordinate the creation of that is displayed here is from the perspective camper day that we held here at Camp Tevya. For this day we allowed multiple families to come into camp and we gave them tours led by our C.I.T's as well as doing multiple activities with them such as boating and canoeing, football, making S'mores and doing a Rikud (dance) class. This is a really important day because it helps bring in lots of new families and campers to come see what camp is really like for a day, and making a video of this is very powerful because it shows other people that are considering sending their kids to camp what it actually would be like. All of these videos are really helpful in marketing camp to Tevya families as well as prospective families, and I have learned a great deal when coordinating the production of them. I have also learned how to deal with other people's schedules and working around obligations that they may have to get our work done on time. As difficult as it was to work around said obligations, it taught me that things don't always work perfectly for your schedule and that you need to be flexible in a business like this to get good content.
