Evidence Set #1: Facebook Posts

Objective 1: I will include multiple different daily posts I have made on the Camp Tevya Facebook page. 

​

Activities/Resources: 

  • Walk around camp each social media period gathering content to create a daily post

  • Prepare different ways to creatively engage parents on social media (#'s like #sunsetsundays)

  • Make sure that I always have either my camera or phone on me to be able to take pictures or record things going on so I am always able to post what is going on at camp that day.

Evidence Overview:

​

The following page is filled with screenshots of daily facebook content that I have created on Camp Tevya's behalf. Each screenshot displays an image or multiple images that showcase different events and activities that have occurred that day at camp. These posts are used to help market camp to prospective families, as well as to show the families of our Tevya kids how fun they are having and all of the interesting things they are doing on a daily basis. By posting something daily on Facebook and as much as I can on Instagram, as well as utilizing tools such as Instagram and Facebook stories, I will be able to market Camp Tevya to as many people as possible. Using different forms of social media will help me reach many families, therefore showing off the exciting nature of Camp Tevya. I decided to display my Facebook posts in this evidence overview due to the fact that this is the type of social media most Tevya families as well as perspective families use the most. I can reach the most amount of families using Facebook, so it seemed appropriate to show off. I have learned so much valuable information through these postings and working at Camp Tevya. I have learned how important it is to have a good social media plan, such as posting at specific times to reach larger audiences, which I have determined how to do through the Media Insights tool on Facebook. From posting so much on social media, I have realized what people really want to see from a business like Camp Tevya, a real look into the daily life of their children, the campers. I worked hard to get good pictures for all of these posts as well as to brainstorm different captions that capture the attention of the viewers and make them more likely to check out the pictures.
